Divya then, Now and ................

1987
Yeswanth Shriyan, then a young man with a decade of experience in Clearing & Forwarding decides to form a firm along with his elder brother Purushottam Shriyan, a banking expert with 20 years experience. The firm was named DIVYA Shipping & Clearing Servies.

1988
DIVYA specializes in handling of export of cotton yarn and other Textiles items. With a growing export market in E.E.C. East and U.S.A.
DIVYA's turnover increased multifold.

1989
Vedprakash Shriyan younger brother of Purushottam & Yeshwanth completes his education with specialization in export management and marketing. He secures his chartered Accountancy degree and takes the mantle of looking after the forwarding wing of DIVYA.

1991
With the establishment of Nhava Sheva Port DIVYA expands its operations by opening an office J.N.Port and a ware house at Panvel (Navi Mumbai).
Divya is converted into a Private Limited company.

1992 : A Milestone
DIVYA gets the prestigious award for handling the maximum containerized Import cargo from J.N.Port.

1993
DIVYA becomes a member of network of DERUDDER group of France an International freight forwarding company with a network of Agents and offices across the globe.

1996
DIVYA starts handling transportation of containers with fleet of 20'/40' Trailers including Project Transportation.

1997
Joins "Tops" France as member and starts Acting as agent in India of China sea marine France and other forwarding companies across the Globe. Establishes own office at "ICD Tirupur" the largest producing centre of cotton knitted Garments from India and starts handling exports of Garments via Chennai and Tuticorin for some of the Big Garments Exporters of Tirupur.

1998
Establishes own office at "Aircargo Sahar", Mumbai to Handle Import/Export cargo by Air.

1999
Sets up own office at "ICD New Delhi" which has become prominent centre for all cargo originating from North India. Sets up own office at "Tuticorian port" and "New Manglore Port".

DIVYA handles all variety of Import and Export cargo. A young and hard-working Management with complete support of a dedicated team of vastly experienced staff members, Divya steers forward offering a vaster variety of excellent Quality services.

2002
Establishes own office at ICD Vapi (Gujarat).
Divya is granted “M.T.O” license by the DG Shipping, to act as registered Multimodal Transport operator.

2003
Proposed New Offices at ICD Jaipur, Pithampur and Baroda. Implementing infotrans for real time status reporting and shipment status monitoring.

A young and hardworking management with a team of 125 professional staff, “Divya” today handles more than 10000 TEU’s of containerized cargo per annum.
